This seminar is intended for the front line operators/management/tech to learn the basics of OSHA compliance and how to protect themselves & co-workers.

The presentation will review recent Chicagoland OSHA inspections at metal finishers, often cited safety violations, how to do a basic internal safety audit, and how to prepare for an OSHA inspection.

Training will take place in the Cardinal dining room.

About the Instructor:

Joelie Zak, MSF, AESF Fellow, started with Scientific Control Laboratories (SCL) in Chicago in 1993 as an environmental scientist. She is executive vice president and co-owner of SCL and Admiral Environmental Services. Ms. Zak has thirty (30) years of experience in working small manufacturing businesses as a technical environmental, health and safety consultant.
